The Fodder for Canon article states you "spent four years absorbing the Common Core's "firehose" of Great Books" - is there someplace you have detailed your list of "must reads"? As a late blooming classics reader (I was an accounting major - zzzzz), I've missed much and not reading them in a classroom setting has its disadvantages for understanding and yet I have fallen in love with English literature in particular.
