NY C.S.Lewis Society 40th Anniversary: Be There!

Read all about the 40th Anniversary Weekend Symposium for the New York C.S. Lewis Society!

Featured Speakers at the event include Joseph Pearce, Christopher Mitchell, James Como, and Fr. Joseph Koterski. I have heard Chris Mitchell and James Como speak on Lewis, literature, and life at CSL conferences and NYCSL Society meetings, and, believe me, they are worth driving a good distance or even flying in to see and hear. The weekend promises to be a relatively intimate thing, unlike a FanCon, with opportunities to have more than drive-by conversations with the Keynotes. I’m really looking forward to this.

“Come for the weekend or just for the day. All speakers and events on Saturday can be enjoyed for a mere $55 dollars (meals not included – bring a brown bag). This is a great opportunity for anyone within driving distance of Queens, New York City. All air-conditioned rooms. Ample free parking.”

I will be there on Saturday, though I’m there to listen not speak, and I will do the Gilderoy thing and sign books if you want (Bob Trexler of Zossima Press tells me books will be available at the conference).

If you want to register for a room and food, you need to send your deposit by July 15th. Get on it!
