  1. Well, this is tough.

It’s a strange phenomenon that in these early years of the 21st century, many talented actors, actresses, singers, comedians, and artists who should, by all rights, still have a few good years left in them are nonetheless cut all too short.

Why this should be I’m sure I don’t know (the Wheel of Fortune can be a cruel game sometimes).

Still, for all that, when an artist is good at his job it means something to acknowledge that.

As someone who provided entertainment on many occasions, all I can do is acknowledge the late Mr. Rickman, and say the only thing that can be said. Much thanks, and good luck.

    Yippee-ky-yay, Old Chap.

  2. That is a beautiful quote, but I fear he never said it…if googled many sites come up not attributing it to Mr. Rickman. That being said, the many visual tributes on the “net’ with words were moving and tear worthy. His delivery of a line was absolutely unparalleled and resonates in my head every time I watch an HP movie – I just wait for those single syllable words to be pulled apart over and over again. He should have won an award but the admiration of his many fans will stand in for that omission Kathleen

  3. Hey John, Wasn’t sure if you had seen this one yet, but wanted to share the link:
