EBH: The Hogwarts Professor Will Be At Pace University Friday April 30—Mark your Calendars!

If you don’t happen to live in the Midwest and can’t get to any of the fantastic programs John will be presenting over the next several days, don’t worry: he’s coming back east. On April 30, he will be at Pace University to sign copies of Spotlight as part of their Twilight-themed afternoon and evening. Nancy Reagin, editor of Twilight and History, will also be featured and will sign books. Knowing John and Nancy, it will be an absolutely super evening and well worth a visit to the big apple (very appropriate for a Twilight talk)!

Here is the official invite:

Join us for an afternoon and evening of “Twilight” related events on Friday, April 30th.  We’ll be watching the first “Twilight” movie together in W 613 between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.  At 7:30 p.m., we’ll be hosting “Talk about Twilight,” a panel of literary and historical scholars who have published about Twilight.  Come and talk with us about the history behind the Twilight story world and characters, and also about vampires in literature, popular culture, and folklore.    The evening will conclude with a book signing for two Twilight-related books, Twilight and History, edited by Prof. Nancy Reagin and Spotlight: a Close-Up Look at the Artistry and Meaning of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga.   All events will take place in W 613 of Once Pace Plaza and are free and open to Pace students, faculty, staff, and their guests.  This event is sponsored by the Dyson Houses.
