Corey Olsen, Professor of English and Medieval Studies at Washingon College and President of the Mythgard Institute, will be on-hand to answer your pressing questions about Mythgard. In particular, Prof. Olsen will address questions about job openings at Mythgard, Prof. Olsen’s vision for the future of higher education, and, in particular, Mythgard’s Spring 2012 course offerings, including The Making of Myth: C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien taught by Prof. Olsen himself and Taking Harry Seriously: The Artistry and Meanings of the Harry Potter Saga taught by renowned Harry Potter scholars Amy Sturgis, Ph.D., and Travis Prinzi, MA, MS, of The Hog’s Head.

The Mythgard Institute is dedicated to making a rigorous, dynamic, and interactive educational experience possible for students around the world through the latest online technology. Mythgard classes are taught by world-class teachers and leading scholars, encourage collaboration and intense, and foster an environment of critical thinking. The Institute offers literature courses at the Master’s level with concentrations in areas such as Tolkien studies, medieval literature, Renaissance literature, fantasy literature, and classical literature and languages. Mythgard has begun the process of acquiring full certification and accreditation and expects to be able to award MA’s in English by the Spring of 2014.
